\nPrincipal Veterinarian & Director\n<\/div>
\nDr Trent Raeburn has had a remarkable career in the veterinary industry, which has taken him all across Australia, working in a variety of small and mixed animal clinics. Trent\u2019s journey in the veterinary field began humbly as a Veterinary Nurse, cleaning out stalls, but his dedication and passion for animals quickly led him to pursue further education. He graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science First Class Honors and has continued to expand his expertise through ongoing professional development and continuing education, knowing that the veterinary field is constantly evolving.

Dr Trent enjoys the variety and challenge that comes with being a veterinarian, as each day and each animal brings something different and new challenges. He is particularly passionate about consulting, building long-term relationships with clients, and helping pets recover and live their best lives. His genuine care for both animals and their owners is evident in every consultation.

\nDr Sophie Bolton BVSc (hons)\n<\/h3>
\nVeterinarian\n<\/div>
\nDr Sophie Bolton\u2019s path to veterinary medicine began with six months of studying biomedical science, but it didn\u2019t take long for her to realize her true calling: to become a veterinarian. Fascinated by how the body works as a whole and driven by a lifelong love for animals, Sophie pursued her passion and graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.

Sophie has a special interest in Ultrasonography and has continued to expand her expertise through post-graduate education to refine her skills in this area. What drives Dr Sophie is the ability to make a real difference in the lives of animals and their families. She takes great care to ensure that her clients are well-informed about their options, working closely with them to create tailored treatment plans that best suit the needs and diagnosis of each patient.

\nDr Madi Heyn DVM\n<\/h3>
\nVeterinarian\n<\/div>
\nDr Madi Heyn\u2019s veterinary journey began with work placements and has since taken her to diverse and rewarding experiences. Before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Madi worked at a Children's Educational Farm while studying at university, further developing her passion for animals. She also gained valuable experience working as a veterinarian in New South Wales.

Dr Madi has completed continuing education courses, including an EVDS Equine Dentistry course and an Ultrasound course, further enhancing her skills. With a special interest in mixed animal practice, she enjoys working with both large and small animals, and finds it incredibly rewarding to collaborate with pet owners to provide the best care for their animals.

\nDr Wendy Bergen BVSc\n<\/h3>
\nVeterinarian\n<\/div>
\nDr. Wendy Bergen has always had a passion for animals, which led her to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. While studying at university, she gained hands-on experience working as a Veterinary Nurse, setting the stage for a career dedicated to animal care. Dr. Wendy\u2019s experience spans a wide range of settings, having worked in mixed animal clinics, parks & wildlife, the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, and even teaching exotics and wildlife at James Cook University. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, a Master of Conservation Management, and has completed an Animal Acupuncture course. With years of experience in the field, Dr. Wendy is committed to continuous learning, completing numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date in the ever-evolving veterinary industry. With a special interest in wildlife, Dr. Wendy is passionate about helping animals in need and providing them with the best care possible.

\nDr Georgie Gallagher BVSc (hons)\n<\/h3>
\nVeterinarian\n<\/div>
\nDr Georgie grew up surrounded by animals, especially horses, and knew from a young age that she wanted to work in a career involving animals. Inspired by her family vet growing up, she\u2019s turned that passion into a career caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

What she loves most about being a vet is the variety \u2014 no two days are ever the same. From consults to surgery, and everything in between, she enjoys the challenge and the opportunity to keep learning alongside a team of like-minded people.

Something that Dr Georgie wishes more people understood about being a vet is that the job is incredibly diverse. On any given day, she might be a GP, surgeon, internal medicine clinician, dermatologist, ophthalmologist \u2014 often across multiple species.

Outside of work, you\u2019ll find her spending time with friends and family, riding her horses, or out adventuring with her koolie, Moose \ud83d\udc15

\nFrom a young age, Crystal knew she wanted to work in the Veterinary Industry, driven by a deep passion for helping sick and injured animals. Starting as a volunteer in veterinary practices at just 13 years old, she worked her way up, gaining experience as a Kennel Hand and Veterinary Nurse before becoming the Business\/Practice Manager. Crystal\u2019s management career spans various industries, including retail, human healthcare, and Veterinary, giving her a wealth of knowledge in managing teams and business operations.

Crystal has been with Moreton Bay Vets since its opening in 2014, and she\u2019s truly fulfilled her childhood dream of working in a Veterinary Practice. Her passion for helping animal\u2019s shines through in her role, as she ensures that clients and patients receive the highest level of personalised\/tailored care.

\nAmber has always had a close connection to animals, growing up in a family involved in the horse racing industry. From a young age, Amber worked in racing stables and participated in trackwork, gaining valuable hands-on experience with horses. Her love for animals and desire to help them led her to pursue a career in veterinary nursing.

With experience in both small and mixed animal practices, Amber brings a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and a wealth of knowledge to the team at Moreton Bay Vets. She takes great pride in caring for her patients, treating them as if they were her own, and she enjoys building long-lasting relationships with both clients and their beloved pets. Amber is passionate about supporting clients through their veterinary journeys, offering guidance, comfort, and genuine care.

\nChrissy's journey into the veterinary industry began as a work experience student, and since then, she has built an impressive career. With a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, a Diploma of Equine Science, and a Diploma of Conservation & Land Management, Chrissy\u2019s knowledge is vast and diverse. She also holds her PACQ and EA Level 1 General Coach qualifications, reflecting her dedication to both animal care and education. Passionate, driven, and ever eager to expand her expertise, Chrissy is a key part of our team, bringing both hands-on experience and a wealth of knowledge to every aspect of her work.

\nBefore joining the veterinary world, Gen was a skilled hairdresser and manager of a barber shop, but she was ready for a career change. After completing a Certificate in Business Administration, she began working as a receptionist at a specialist\/emergency veterinary centre, where she developed exceptional triage and booking skills. Gen holds a Cert IV in Hairdressing, Cert III in Business Administration, and is currently studying a Dual Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping.

At Moreton Bay Vets, Gen is the friendly face you\u2019ll see at the reception desk, always ready to help. She loves working with our team and helping animals, and understands that by nature; vet clinics can be busy. With her organizational skills, Gen plays a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, helping the team stay focused and clients feel cared for.

\nHarriet is a dedicated animal lover whose journey in the veterinary industry began as a student veterinary nurse, where she gained hands-on experience working in busy clinic environments. She went on to study Veterinary Technology at the University of Queensland, further deepening her knowledge of animal health and care. This background gives Harriet a strong foundation in both the medical and emotional aspects of veterinary care, which she brings to her role as a receptionist at Moreton Bay Vets.

Having horses and dogs of her own, Harriet understands firsthand how worrying it can be when a pet becomes unwell. Her clinical experience allows her to communicate with empathy and confidence, helping to guide clients through what can often be a stressful time. Harriet thrives on the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of the clinic and finds great satisfaction in being able to support both clients and patients from the moment they walk through the door. Her friendly, compassionate nature and deep understanding of veterinary care make her a valued member of the Moreton Bay Vets team.

\nLisa has had a lifelong love for animals, which led her to start her career in the veterinary industry 23 years ago. With a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in caring for both small and large animals. Her extensive experience allows her to handle a wide range of situations with confidence and compassion. Lisa enjoys the variety that comes with being a Veterinary Nurse, as no two days are ever the same. With a background in managing various businesses across different industries, Noreen most recently managed a Thoroughbred stud in North Brisbane. \nHaving grown up with horses and pets, Zara knows exactly how stressful it can be when something isn\u2019t quite right\u2014whether it\u2019s an unexpected vet visit or a colic episode late on a Sunday night. That lived experience is what drives her to be a calm, supportive presence for both pets and their people.

Before stepping into the veterinary world, Zara worked in retail leadership, where she loved connecting with people\u2014but her heart was always with the animals. Eventually, she made the leap and hasn\u2019t looked back.

Zara takes great pride in working alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team. For her, there\u2019s nothing better than being part of a group that shares the same purpose: doing everything they can to help animals feel safe, loved, and cared for.

She also works with a pet supplement start-up, further fuelling her passion for animal health. What motivates her most is knowing that she\u2019s making a difference\u2014whether it\u2019s assisting in treatments, offering a gentle word to a nervous pup, or supporting her team behind the scenes. If there\u2019s one thing she wishes people knew, it\u2019s how much heart goes into every moment at MBV.
