Meet Bentley, a spirited young Hungarian Vizsla with a heart full of zoomies and a nose for adventure.

One weekend, Bentley was presented to Dr Sophie with a serious 25cm laceration along his thorax and abdomen. Despite the size of the wound, Bentley greeted us with the kind of wag only a Vizsla can manage… even while injured!

Our team jumped into action. Bentley’s wound was carefully repaired in surgery, with four precise layers to close the wound. He stayed brave throughout the process and before we knew it – surgery was complete and the healing journey had begun.

Fast forward a few weeks, and Bentley strutted back into the clinic, tail high and energy restored for his staple removal. His wound had healed beautifully, and today he’s back to bounding through life as usual.

We’re so proud of Bentley and thrilled to share his story. With a little expert care and a lot of heart, he’s a shining example of a very happy tail!
