Dr Trent Raeburn has had a remarkable career in the veterinary industry, which has taken him all across Australia, working in a variety of small and mixed animal clinics. Trent’s journey in the veterinary field began humbly as a Veterinary Nurse, cleaning out stalls, but his dedication and passion for animals quickly led him to pursue further education. He graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science First Class Honors and has continued to expand his expertise through ongoing professional development and continuing education, knowing that the veterinary field is constantly evolving.
Dr Trent enjoys the variety and challenge that comes with being a veterinarian, as each day and each animal brings something different and new challenges. He is particularly passionate about consulting, building long-term relationships with clients, and helping pets recover and live their best lives. Dr Sophie Bolton’s path to veterinary medicine began with six months of studying biomedical science, but it didn’t take long for her to realize her true calling: to become a veterinarian. Fascinated by how the body works as a whole and driven by a lifelong love for animals, Sophie pursued her passion and graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Veterinary Science.
Sophie has a special interest in Ultrasonography and has continued to expand her expertise through post-graduate education to refine her skills in this area. What drives Dr Sophie is the ability to make a real difference in the lives of animals and their families. She takes great care to ensure that her clients are well-informed about their options, working closely with them to create tailored treatment plans that best suit the needs and diagnosis of each patient.

Dr Madi Heyn DVM
Veterinarian
Dr Madi Heyn’s veterinary journey began with work placements and has since taken her to diverse and rewarding experiences. Before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Madi worked at a Children's Educational Farm while studying at university, further developing her passion for animals. She also gained valuable experience working as a veterinarian in New South Wales.
Dr Madi has completed continuing education courses, including an EVDS Equine Dentistry course and an Ultrasound course, further enhancing her skills. With a special interest in mixed animal practice, she enjoys working with both large and small animals, and finds it incredibly rewarding to collaborate with pet owners to provide the best care for their animals.

Dr Wendy Bergen BVSc
Veterinarian
Dr. Wendy Bergen has always had a passion for animals, which led her to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. While studying at university, she gained hands-on experience working as a Veterinary Nurse, setting the stage for a career dedicated to animal care. Dr. Wendy’s experience spans a wide range of settings, having worked in mixed animal clinics, parks & wildlife, the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, and even teaching exotics and wildlife at James Cook University. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, a Master of Conservation Management, and has completed an Animal Acupuncture course. With years of experience in the field, Dr. Wendy is committed to continuous learning, completing numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date in the ever-evolving veterinary industry. With a special interest in wildlife, Dr. Wendy is passionate about helping animals in need and providing them with the best care possible.

Dr Georgie Gallagher BVSc (hons)

Dr Georgie grew up surrounded by animals, especially horses, and knew from a young age that she wanted to work in a career involving animals. Inspired by her family vet growing up, she’s turned that passion into a career caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.
What she loves most about being a vet is the variety — no two days are ever the same. From consults to surgery, and everything in between, she enjoys the challenge and the opportunity to keep learning alongside a team of like-minded people.

From a young age, Crystal knew she wanted to work in the Veterinary Industry, driven by a deep passion for helping sick and injured animals. Starting as a volunteer in veterinary practices at just 13 years old, she worked her way up, gaining experience as a Kennel Hand and Veterinary Nurse before becoming the Business/Practice Manager. Crystal’s management career spans various industries, including retail, human healthcare, and Veterinary, giving her a wealth of knowledge in managing teams and business operations.
Crystal has been with Moreton Bay Vets since its opening in 2014, and she’s truly fulfilled her childhood dream of working in a Veterinary Practice. Chrissy's journey into the veterinary industry began as a work experience student, and since then, she has built an impressive career. With a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, a Diploma of Equine Science, and a Diploma of Conservation & Land Management, Chrissy’s knowledge is vast and diverse. She also holds her PACQ and EA Level 1 General Coach qualifications, reflecting her dedication to both animal care and education. Before joining the veterinary world, Gen was a skilled hairdresser and manager of a barber shop, but she was ready for a career change. After completing a Certificate in Business Administration, she began working as a receptionist at a specialist/emergency veterinary centre, where she developed exceptional triage and booking skills. Gen holds a Cert IV in Hairdressing, Cert III in Business Administration, and is currently studying a Dual Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping.
