PRICING PHILOSOPHY

Moreton Bay Vets is a local family-owned practice, owned by one principal veterinarian who believes in making veterinary care affordable. We do this by choosing to structure our business around high volume/low profit services, opposed to low volume/high profit services that you may have seen in other vet clinics.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
When you visit our practice, you will be greeted by our friendly reception team and then triaged into one of three consultation rooms. From there a nurse will greet you and start your consultation by asking all the relevant historical information and taking basic vitals of your pet. This is what we call, co-consulting.

You may have seen co-consulting at your local GP or Hospital, when a nurse takes you into the nurse’s station to take your height, weight, and other relevant history about your presenting problem. This method of consultation allows the doctor (or Veterinarian in our case) to do rounds and treat multiple patients within a consultation block, and therefore allows them to see a high volume of patients, without forfeiting the quality of service you receive.
